Machine-Folding and Hand-Folding of Documents
Wherever possible, we use high-speed folding machines to fold mailing items to your desired finished size. Machine folding helps you minimize your direct mail processing costs. We can perform hand folding of custom mail pieces, to meet sizes desired for subsequent envelope insertion.
Envelope Selection and Procurement
Altair Direct Mail Management maintains relationships with trusted material suppliers. At the start of your project, we will help you select what types of envelopes to carry your mailings, and will handle procuring quality envelopes at competitive prices.
Automated Document Insertions
We are able to machine-insert almost any type of direct mail campaign, and can handle even the biggest direct mail job. We employ standard automatic inserters, as well as stretch and jumbo inserters.
Match Mailings
We have the capability to do match mailings, either as part of a continuous form that guarantees the match, or by matching by hand. Our experience personnel will make sure the integrity of the match is not compromised.
Mail Presorting
Presorting mail allows the US Postal Service to process your mailings faster; in turn, they
offer discounted postal rates for you.
With presorting, discounted postal rates can be obtained
for either first class or standard mail services.
Postage Application
Depending on your specific direct mailing project, Altair will use applicable permits, metering, or live stamps to apply postage to your mailing pieces.

required, we can either do the job internally or send it out to one of our trusted handwork
services companies.
Material Pickup and Delivery
Altair Direct Mail Marketing can provide pickup and delivery of materials you wish to incorporate in your direct mailings. We have many connections with delivery services that are dedicated to the direct mail industry. While we do have to charge for these services, we pass these charges directly on to the customer with no mark up. That cost is under the normal courier charges that would be incurred if you went direct.
